SUBJECT · Complete Bible Study
A city situated in a small plain, surrounded by mountains, on the western coast of the sea of Galilee, which, from this city, was also called the sea of Tiberias. Tiberias was erected by Herod Antipas, and so called in honour of Tiberius Cæsar. Tiberias is rendered in the installed Bible Names resource as “good vision; the navel.” This unified study connects 8 installed resource categories without replacing their source records.
