SUBJECT · Complete Bible Study
A city of Lydia, in Asia Minor, and the seat of one of the seven churches in Asia. It was situated nearly midway between Pergamos and Sardis, and is still a tolerable town, considering that it is in the hands of the Turks, and enjoys some trade, chiefly in cottons. Thyatira is rendered in the installed Bible Names resource as “a perfume; sacrifice of labor.” This unified study connects 7 installed resource categories without replacing their source records.
