SUBJECT · Complete Bible Study
A province of Arabia, which derives its name from Edom, or Esau, who there settled in the mountains of Seir, in the land of the Horites, south-east of the Dead Sea. His descendants afterward extended themselves throughout Arabia Petrea, and south of Palestine, between the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean. Edom is rendered in the installed Bible Names resource as “red, earthy; of blood.” This unified study connects 6 installed resource categories without replacing their source records.
